NEW PASSWORD FOR
Institutional email (@correo.uis.edu.co)

From your personal email account registered in the university’s academic system, send an email to admincorreo@correo.uis.edu.co. Include your basic information identifying you as a student of the UIS Barbosa campus (full name, student ID, program, campus) and request the issuance of a new password to access your institutional email account.
HOW TO CONNECT TO THE
Wifi Network?

- On your device, identify the UIS Community network.
- Click on “conectarse” (connect).
- Enter your login information to the UIS Student Information System.
Note: In the case of Android mobile devices, if you request “CA Certificate”, you must select the option “usar certificado del sistema” (use system certificate), where an option “Dominio” (domain) will be displayed where you must enter uis.edu.co. Additionally, advanced options appear as a privacy option, where you must select “usar la MAC del dispositivo” (use MAC of the device).

Keep in mind that the access credentials for the “Comunidad UIS” WiFi network are the same as those used to access the academic information system.
Verify that your credentials for accessing information systems are correct and valid.
If you are a student, try logging into the student module from another device using your known credentials.
If you are a teacher, test access from another device by logging into the “Nuevas versiones” (New Versions) information system with your known credentials.
If you can access the information systems but still cannot connect to the “Comunidad UIS” network, please contact technical support at your campus.
CHANGE OF PASSWORD OF THE
Student System
.
Go to the “Sistema de estudiantes” (students’ system) option.
On the top right, click on the “Solicitar contraseña”(Request a new password) option
Provide the requested information and click on “Enviar contraseña” (send password)
The system will show you to which email address the password will be sent (personal e-mail and institutional e-mail).
In case the personal e-mail does not correspond, go to the Academic Coordination and request the adjustment in your resume of the academic information system.
