Aimed at covering housing or transportation expenses for undergraduate students with limited financial resources.
Requirements: enrollment in at least 11 credits, no active disciplinary sanctions, and compliance with the maximum number of academic periods allowed at the regional campus, according to the respective study plan.

Internships correspond to support work that undergraduate students can perform, in the administrative units.
Requirements: first level passed, GPA 3.2, no other assistantship, not having been sanctioned.
Pay: 1 smmlv (minimum monthly wage) per semester for 120 hours of work.

A discount on the base tuition value that can be 25%, 50%, or 100% is applied to students who obtain the best averages of the academic program in which he/she is enrolled.

When a parent has multiple children simultaneously enrolled in face-to-face or distance learning academic programs at any UIS regional or central campus, they are entitled to the following discounts on tuition fees:
- For two (2) children, 20%.
For three (3) or more children, 30%.
SOCIAL WELFARE TO THE
UIS Server
According to current regulations, the Superior Council has established a social welfare system for UIS employees and their beneficiaries, including spouses or permanent partners, and children of UIS employees enrolled in undergraduate, academic, administrative, or social outreach programs at the University.
The University provides a 90% tuition subsidy. In return, the student commits to working a total of 32 hours per semester in academic or administrative tasks, as required by the requesting academic or administrative unit, without establishing any employment relationship.
STIMULUS FOR
Sport Participation

This discount applies to students who participate in national sports events endorsed by ASCUNDEPORTES or the respective sports federations. A 100% exemption on the base tuition fee is granted for a gold medal, 90% for a silver medal, and 80% for a bronze medal. This exemption will be maintained as long as they retain the sports title.
VOTING

Students who participate in various electoral processes by exercising their right to vote are eligible for a 10% discount on the base tuition fee.

This financial tuition reimbursement process allows students who present changes in their family’s socioeconomic dynamics to request a study of their urgent situation in order to obtain a temporary or definitive discount in the base tuition amount, or in certain cases, to change the settlement factor.

SEA

Students who excel in key subjects may join one of the academic support programs under the SEA-MIDAS program to assist other students in their academic progress. These tutoring sessions are assigned each semester based on the number of hours available for each tutor, at a rate of $8,333 per hour.
